Pediatric Physical Therapy

How can Pediatric Physical Therapy help your child?

Pediatric physical therapy addresses challenges and delays in the area of typical movement patterns, gross motor development, motor learning and a child’s ability to access their environment.  Physical Therapist use their knowledge in anatomy, physiology, neurology, and kinesiology to assess movement and identify components such as muscle tone, strength, range of motion, balance, coordination and sensory integration, that may be leading to the child’s challenges.

What Little Antz Physical Therapy can do for you?

At Little Antz we believe that education and early detection is key to supporting the gross motor development of your child. We can help you and your child find creative therapeutic activities to help any challenge they are facing. We provide screens as early as birth for potential movement restrictions, evaluations, infant massage classes and family centered workshops that are centered on the needs of a developing human being.

At Little Antz are big on family participation. We educate parents/caregivers and develop a plan of action with a smooth transition into the family’s daily routine to facilitate carryover into the home setting. We treat children with limitations related to injury, disease, or congenital conditions. Every session will take place with a licensed therapist and is personally tailored to your child’s interest and abilities. Therapy sessions are typically one on one, play based and fun!
